Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to develop a theoretical model that orchestrates therelationship between stakeholder engagement, entrepreneurial orientation, andagricultural project performance in developing countries. The paper adopts theMed Graph and Sobel tests of mediation effect to develop a mediation model ofagricultural project performance. The study draws on quantitative and cross-sectional research approaches.Random sampling technique was used to selecttheagricultural projectsand purposive sampling was appliedto select therespondents.Theresultsrevealthatstakeholderengagementandentrepreneurial orientation are invaluable resources that significantly affectagricultural project performance. The study empirically shows that stakeholderengagementandentrepreneurialorientationaresignificantpredictorsofproject performance for agricultural projects in developing countries. Thisstudy makes a contribution to knowledge through the provision of relevantinformation that fills the practical gaps of agricultural projects in developingcountries and makes a theoretical contribution to the project managementdiscipline.Thisenablespractitionersandscholarstocomprehendandlegitimize decisions that foster sustainable agricultural project performance indeveloping countries.Keywords:AgriculturalProjectsPerformance,StakeholderEngagement,EntrepreneurialOrientation and Developing Countries
